Cookies statement
Short version: YourTrace sets no tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner. Here is the full, honest account of every bit of browser storage we touch.
We set no tracking cookies
YourTrace uses no advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not embed third-party trackers, social pixels, or ad networks. Because nothing we do requires consent under the ePrivacy Directive or GDPR, we show no cookie banner and run no consent wall.
Why there's no banner
Consent is only required for storage that is not strictly necessary to provide the service you requested. We don't use any such storage, so there is nothing to consent to. Our analytics are cookieless and aggregate (page-view counts with no identifier), so they fall outside the consent requirement entirely.
The only browser storage we may use
- ›Strictly-necessary, first-party UI state — for example remembering the monthly/annual toggle on the pricing page. This is exempt from consent and never leaves your browser.
- ›On paid plans, a first-party session cookie to keep you signed in to your API dashboard. Set only after you log in, never for anonymous visitors, and used only for authentication.
- ›No third-party cookies of any kind.
Controlling storage
You can clear or block cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings without breaking lookups — the public site works fully without any stored state. For how we handle your IP and request metadata, see our privacy policy.
