Refund & cancellation policy
Paid YourTrace plans are month-to-month, cancel-anytime, and backed by a 14-day refund window. No lock-in, no cancellation fee, no surprises.
Which plans this covers
This policy applies to the paid API tiers — Developer ($19/mo), Pro ($49/mo), and Business ($129/mo), and their annual equivalents. The free tier is free forever and has nothing to cancel or refund.
Month-to-month, cancel anytime
- ›Paid plans are billed monthly (or annually for the 20% discount). There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
- ›Cancel in one click from your dashboard, or by emailing [email protected], at any time.
- ›When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for — then you drop back to the free, keyless tier. We never cut you off mid-cycle.
- ›We don't auto-escalate tiers; you only ever pay for the plan you chose.
14-day refund window
New paid subscriptions come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If YourTrace isn't right for you, email [email protected]within 14 days of your first charge on a plan and we'll refund it in full — no questions asked. Every paid tier also starts with a 14-day free trial, so you can evaluate before any money changes hands.
Monthly plans after the refund window
After the 14-day window, monthly charges are generally non-refundable, but because plans are month-to-month you can cancel before the next renewal and you won't be billed again. If you were charged in error or experienced a material outage against your SLA, contact us and we'll make it right with a refund or service credit.
Annual plans & proration
- ›Cancel an annual plan within the first 14 days for a full refund.
- ›Cancel an annual plan later and we prorate: we refund the unused whole months as account credit, or to your original payment method on request.
- ›Upgrade or downgrade mid-cycle and we prorate the difference automatically against your next invoice.
How to cancel or request a refund
Open your API dashboard and choose Billing → Cancel plan, or email [email protected] from the address on your account. Refunds are issued to your original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days. See also our terms of service and pricing.
